Yiğit Dündar - Awakening
I woke up while I was still experiencing this world that this world was a dream. My dream became my reality, my reality became my intention.
People are just trying to do today. Always in action, racing with time, always trying to get to places; always planning the next move. They all have expectations such as achieving things, trying to make permanent works, securing tomorrow, working hard and being very successful. The result is a person who rebels against the world with their own disappointments from their own expectations.
One does not know that everything is temporary. Happiness is temporary, tranquility is temporary, silence is temporary, fighting is temporary, pain is temporary and the disappointment of your expectation is temporary.
Everybody blames themselves or someone else; they rebel. They are angry because they cannot find unity, integrity, or completeness in this world.
But everywhere we look, we just see ourselves. We are waiting for the world to be 'One' while we are not 'One', and we are going to be disappointed. We do not notice that the world is like this, because we are.
Whatever an artist draws, it can only be about their inner world. They create their illusions based on their perception of the world.
But sometimes people should stop, without doing anything. just breathing, stopping, and just staying. They should stop to take a deep breath; stop to just exist; stop to wake up…
Just at that moment, like a pose of life. Whatever is in that moment. One must wake from this timelessness to that very moment.
There must be a vision, that whatever is in this world is also in us, and that this world constitutes of only thought.
